Executive Team

Margi Grein - Executive Officer
Margi Grein
Margi Grein began her career with the Board in 1986 and has served as Executive Officer since 1998.  Ms. Grein oversees a staff of 65 employees.  During her tenure as Executive Officer, Ms. Grein has implemented professional training programs for Board members and staff, directed modernization of technology to better serve the public and industry members, supervised the implementation of improved procedures for conducting investigations and disciplinary hearings and improved internal and external communications.  Ms. Grein serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA).  Ms. Grein served as Director of Finance and Public Relations for the Board prior to her appointment as Executive Officer.

Susan Broili Kamesch - Licensing Administrator

Susan Broili Kamesch began her career with the Nevada State Contractors Board as Licensing Supervisor in 2010. She became Licensing Administrator in March of 2023 and oversees all aspects of the Licensing Division including personnel and administration. Ms. Broili Kamesch has extensive experience in the public sector having worked for the Nevada Office of the Attorney General and Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners.

David Behar - Director of Investigations

David Behar was hired in October of 2022 as Deputy Director of Investigations and promoted to Director of Investigations in February of 2023. He has been a resident of Nevada since 2004 and oversees all matters involving Board investigations to include personnel matters, background verifications, and internal investigations. Prior to his employment with the NSCB, Mr. Behar worked 25 years in federal law enforcement with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Los Angeles and Las Vegas as both a DEA Special Agent and Group Supervisor. During his tenure with the DEA, Mr. Behar partnered with numerous state and local agencies allowing him the opportunity to disrupt and dismantle some of the world’s most sophisticated drug and money laundering organizations.
